Not to you, dear readers. I’ve got plenty of fire in my belly yet.
Today’s the day i’m going to officially sort out shifting over connection to O2 from Virgin.
Over the last few days i’ve seen my connection speed drop from an adequate 750k/sec to around 250.
Utter shite.
To paraphrase a 90′s quote: Could they BE any worse?
Apparently there’s none of this having to clear the line first before you can shift over, all you have to do is get your MAC code from your previous supplier and it’ll shift over seamlessly with no downtime. Fucking bonus in my books.
The quicker i get away from these cockachumpies the better. Although i’ll then have to find someone else’s logo to have a dog shitting on.

Little Mac’s Back

Punch-Out!! for the Wii is the reinvention of the classic arcade and nintendo game where you fight such diverse and not-at-all racial stereotypes like Canadian Bear Hugger, German Von Kaiser and Japanese Piston Honda. It’s about as far removed from a simulator as it can be and is as pure an arcade game as it can be.
For all that is good in this world, duck! Then whack him in the stomach, then just pummel his face. Now repeat that 10 or 20 times and you're done.

Wolverine Opinions

So it looks like opinions are truly divided with Wolverine. I’ve got Simp on one side absolutely hating it as it’s destroyed everything he loved about the character and then I’ve got the DM on the other side saying it was an enjoyable popcorn flick and he’s accepted that Hollywood are going to specially ruin any comic character for the masses.
So here’s the good and the bad collated from the two, there’s some major spoilers here so don’t read this if you haven’t watched it.

I’ve just bought a PS2 on eBay for £26 and a tenner delivery. Bargain eh?
I had a shit load of games for the PS2 at one point so i’m looking forward to digging all them out again and playing my personal two favourites: Spider-Man 2 and Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.

Weekend Roundup

I’ve been a busy little beaver this last weekend.
Saturday was the gig at the Face Bar. That went as well as it could have done. Although it was rather hampered by the utterly shite drumkit provided by the headlining band Jurassic Dave. Fuck’s sake, it was a pink kit by Evans with one tom.

Apparently we’re going to be playing Call of Duty: World at War tonight. If you’re a 14 year old whiney gamer who’s favourite insult is to call people gay or fag, and you want to come and teabag us all while shouting insults down the headset then we’ll be on after 9.

Actually if you do, prepare to ganged up on and taken roughly from behind. Can’t stand kids that at better than me at games. I was there with Jet Set Willy, sunshine! Hardest fucking game in the universe. It was even impossible to complete without a POKE.
