Great Movies You’ve Never Seen

Sonic Death Monkey
Nov 30th
I watched High Fidelity again yesterday. Forgot how fantastic that film was. It captures the whole essence and feeling of the book perfectly, and the monologues to camera are just great.
It’s also a great way of discovering new music. I didn’t even know it was Velvet Underground that did the beautiful song ‘Who Loves the Sun‘ or Dylan that did ‘Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You‘ (amazing if you’ve never heard it).
Little tip: Watch it with subtitles, then you see what the title of every single song in it is. I didn’t know half of them.
Just how many fantastic albums haven’t I listened to? Hell I hadn’t even listened to ‘Blonde on Blonde’ until I saw this film the first time around (I find it a bit boring to be honest, want to like it a lot more than I do) More >

Black Friday, for the rest of the world who are unfamiliar with it, is the day after Thanksgiving and is typically associated with shopping. LOTS of shopping. More >
Authentication Required
Nov 27th
Is anyone else getting ‘Authentication Required’ when they go to either the passwords or password-free pages?
I can’t actually understand why I’m getting it. I promise you, this isn’t the start of some stupid passworded section where everyone has to register or anything. Both these pages are free and will remain free for ever. It’s entirely up to you if you want to register or not. There’s no penalty for not doing so. More >
Hope on the Horizon

First of all let me wish all my new American chums Happy Thanksgiving.
I went to New York back in March for my honeymoon and it would be quite cool to be around Times Square this time of year. Bloody cold though I’m sure. More >
Prince of Persia Movie Trailer
Nov 25th
Actually it doesn’t look too bad. Very Pirates of the Caribbean.
And it’s by Disney, and it’s Bruckheimer. So it ticks all the right boxes for a fun-filled free-running time-bending sand-shifting adventure.
Every Cloud and All That

Seeing as Tony Hawk: Ride is big pile of donkey shit and I had £77 burning a hole in my Paypal account from the sale of DJ Hero, I took the plunge and purchased a reconditioned 360 Arcade for a nice little price of a ton.
Even got a new controller and all that gubbins with it. I would have purchase a wireless network card for it but I can’t watch Sky Player on it as I’m still on O2 and they’re a big pile of cow shit.
