I can’t beat his bloody high score on 1942. I got really far last night and then frigging died; 40k from his high score of 273 thousand.
I know he’s laughing at me while he reads this so mark my words. I’ll get you Penelope Pitstop Twatshit Fuckface. I was kicking and shouting at my cabinet last night coz I kept dying.
On another note, by some miraculous miracle I’ve got Daphne to work. Daphne is a laserdisc video game emulator for games like Dragon’s Lair and Space Ace.
You already know that Dragon’s Lair is my favourite game ever made (yes, even over Spider-Man 2), closely followed by Dragon’s Lair II. I’ve completed them both; many, many times while the current girlfriend stood incredibly bored watching me do the SAME scene over and over and over again for about 40 minutes at a time. God bless ‘em all.

Just ordered my second cab.

loads being shipped from japan but guys not got space for 1… lucky me.
its even got a scrolling led sign at the top that works with some jamma games.
put mame in my other cab, have to admit lots of games but after playing real jammas i have… i wasn’t ovely impressed. always in the back of my mind its not quite right.
so i have decided to put my p4 mame machine into a cage and use it on a big crt tv off ebay.
turning the back room into a games room.
so ill have the mame box with big tv and two arcade cabs running real games.
tried tekken 3 on pc, it ran like a bag of spanners in a tumbledryer. runs like a dream off jamma.
so thats where im at.
