Going Great Guns

I’m glad to see people are appreciating the password database. Got a good few ideas to extract different clumps of data from it so watch out for the changes today.

And I see it’s had over a hundred visitors since yesterday afternoon. Would be nice to see ‘Wanking Material’ knocked off the top finally. I only put that up as a joke coz people were searching for that phrase after I called a game ‘pure wank material’ once.

On another note, if you want fantastic retro I would heartily recommend Electric Dreams on BBC4 last night. The show has taken a family living in Reading and made them live through the 70′s, 80′s and 90′s. Their house was originally converted to resemble the 70′s, down to 3 channels, a twin-tub washing mashine and no freezer. Each day they progressed through a year and each episode is 10 years. Last night’s was the 80′s.

I don’t normally like stuff like this but there’s something just so fun about watching kids of todays youth really enjoying playing Parachute and Octopus on the Nintendo Game & Watch and programming BASIC on a BBC Microcomputer.

Then there was a biog drama on Sir Clive Sinclair called Micro Men on after it. Will probably watch that this weekend some point.

P.S. Please get those passwords coming in, otherwise the database is going to get very old very fast.
