Mediapopscorn has NO PASSWORDS!

I’ve done a little bit of nosying around in it. It’s just a crappy ‘out of the box’ wordpress blog site, with absolutely nothing special done to it.

The cockpouch who did it clearly hasn’t hidden anything apart from a shitty bit of text. I even took a screenshot of a post for your delectation (You see how good I am to you guys!)…

If you don’t believe me just go to the website (I’m not going to dignify a fucktard website like that with a link, work it out), disable all javascript (I use the ‘web developer’ plugin for Firefox then Disable->Disable Javascript->All Javascript), then click one of the links to the posts.

It’s just a bog standard regular post, there’s nothing hidden there, it won’t ‘reveal’ itself after you’ve gone to another website (that’s not generally how websites work, especially not one as simple as that, trust me on this), it’s just another bigger pile of bullshit that’ll go as quickly as it came.

My guessing would be that the guy’s found the file from elsewhere, repacked and distributed it around through the usual channels. I would keep an eye out for the name of the person who’s submitted it and don’t get from them again.

If you don’t believe me then by all means fill out the survey and jump through all the hoops it wants you to do.

Please, go ahead. Let me know your results. It would be nice to know 100% anyway. There must be one of you who’s willing to take a fall for the team!

Look, don’t fret. Don’t plaster the comments with ‘NEED PASSWORD FOR THIS ASAP!!!!!!’ and other pointless stuff. Just hang fire while I work hard, putting the finishing touches to the next db. I should be finished by tomorrow…
