Play XBox 360 Games Online. For Free!

Now this is interesting. Especially for people like me.

For those of you who can’t be bothered reading through all the gumph, then it’s a piece of software you run on your pc that’s on the same network as your 360. It then makes your 360 believe that it’s connected to other consoles on a lan or system-link but in actuality it’s connected to an online community where you can play against other people.

The only caveat is, it won’t connect to anyone who’s ping is over 30ms (that’s the length of time it takes for a piece of information to get to the other machine and back, 30′s ok for playing mates close by, not brilliant for playing people in China)

It’s not just for 360 either, it’ll work for original Xbox, PSP, PS2 and even Gamecube.

I don’t know anything more about it other than what i’ve told you, but the concept sounds mighty interesting. Plus it may actually weed out the freaks that inhabit XBL.

Think i’ll definitely be installing it this week some time. I’ll let you know my findings…
